spoiled girl isn’t a fan of wet food…
Kitty is 5 months old. I give her both wet and dry food. I didn’t invest heavily in her dry food because I read it was better to invest in a higher quality wet food when giving cats both. She LOVES the iams kitten dry food i got her , but when it comes to wet food she’s really picky…
She won’t eat any fish. only beef or poultry flavored food. I’ve honestly spoiled her with her wet food options. Tried weruva, tiki cat, fancy feast, and a few others i can’t think of rn. given her all kinds of different textures too.
she usually gets super excited whenever i prepare wet food for her, but when i give it to her she only has a few bites. i’ve been dividing the cans up too and only giving her 1/3 of a can a day because she simply won’t eat anymore than that. she has some wet foods she obviously prefers but it just doesn’t seem to be her favorite. the only one she’ll finish are the friskies lil soups, but those are more of a treat lol.
she drinks lots of water so i’m not concerned about her being dehydrated. is it worth it to invest in a higher end dry food since it seems to be her preference?
RIP Little OneðŸ˜
I wanted to share a bittersweet story with you all about Blanca, a stray kitten I regularly fed and cared for. Unfortunately, Blanca met a tragic end today, but I felt compelled to pay tribute to the joy it brought into my life.
As I say my goodbye, I can't help but feel a mix of sadness and gratitude for the moments we shared. The world can be a harsh place for strays, but I'm thankful that Blanca experienced love, warmth, and kindness, even for a little while.
Rest in peace, little one. Your memory will forever live on in my heart.
Funny stories about your cats
Here is mine: We have a window with a built in cat flap so both of our cats can come and leave whenever they want to. Kenji (the black cat) uses it regularly and in the summer time is out and about most of the time.
Hanako on the other hand is lazy and just can’t be bothered to use the cat flap. Instead she meows really loudly until her personnel gets up and opens the door for her on the other side of the building.
So last week she was at it again, meowing loudly for someone to open the door for her.
Instead, I caught her and showed her (once again) where the cat flap was. So she snuck through the cat flap and I went back to whatever I had to do at that point.
But instead of just staying outside she snuck back into the house went to the door that she wanted to get out of the house out of and started meowing loudly to someone open the door for her.
