iPhone 13 post-processing can get it realllllyyy wrong

I posted this on a recent thread and it got some attention so I figured I’d make a proper post about it. This is a photo I took on my iPhone 13 a month ago. It’s an example of Apple’s post-processing getting it _really_ wrong. It’s repeatable too so not just a one off. My theory is that the light source + mirror + human in one photo really confuse it. More so than other manufacturers, apple tend to identify people and faces in photos and attempt to heavily modify the lighting on them. Marques Brownlee made a very nice video on this. And for about 2 seconds before Apple’s post-processing kicked in, it looked normal. Just a bit dark. Afterwards it looks like a shitty greenscreen effect. Apple’s post-processing really can be quite bad.
