Does this look like it’s scarring?
The left flipper and some bits near the middle seem to be a little red after 2 weeks of healing.
I have eczema so I know it’s probably going to take longer and I have more risk of scarring but the rest of it seems to have healed well (albeit slightly patchy but that’s a different issue for another time)
The bits that are red also happen to be the bits that were bleeding the most during the process.
This is my first tattoo so not sure what I should be expecting
3 months after getting tattoo I still don’t like it
I got this tattoo done 3 months ago, I love the design as it’s very meaningful to me but I don’t like the way it’s done.. I tried giving it time to let it grow on me and don’t think it’s a really shitty tattoo but it’s not what I imagined and this is really bothering me..
The artist is very reputable and I paid $1600 for it (8hrs of work), it’s a statue tattoo of Atlas from greek mythology. I hate the amount of black filling around it, especially at the top. I think it looks too chunky for it to look like a statue and that it’s missing detail.
What would be the most logical thing to do at this point?
I have no idea how to go about covering my scars, any ideas or tips?
I have these two big scar blobs and I have no idea how cover ups work. I don’t really have any ideas with designs, especially considering that my scars are wonky and uneven. Are there certain styles/designs that work best for cover ups? I really want something that is clean with not too much heavy work. Considering how far apart and big they are, i’m assuming it’s going go be a larger tattoo. How do i go about this? I am completely lost.
