JFK legacy

Curious to see how people feel about the legacy of JFK…the good, the bad, the ugly. I’ve been reading a ton about the Vietnam War over the last few years. JFK struck me as indecisive, wanting to brush the stuff under the rug, and generally weak. The assassination of Diem was a turning point and JFK seemed to be largely indecisive during that. The more I read about him the more I didn’t like him. I also believe he was pushed over by Kruschev during a meeting between the two but my knowledge/understanding of that is limited. I’m also not very knowledgeable about his handling of the 13 Days stuff. Yet I feel he is so loved (generally, of course) by the American public. Was it because of his young age? Wife and kids? The shock of his assassination? I’m sure I’m missing MANY things here hence why I posed the original question.

Last McKinley Photo

For years I’d always heard the last photo of McKinley was on the steps entering the Temple of Music. If you Google last photograph, that’s mostly what you get. But then I stumbled onto this photo, which appears to show McKinley inside the building, perhaps minutes before he was shot. Does anyone have info on this photo?
