I loved reading up on the history of this cake, and the Brooklyn blackouts during WWII to allow ships to depart the Brooklyn Navy Yards stealthily. 4 layers of Devils Food and chocolate pudding, ganache frosting and chocolate crumbs! I’d make this one again in a heartbeat.

Made non box mix brownies for the first time and they came out so thick and fudgey 😍
