Pushed through that night run after picking heavy missiles for the ground battery cluster. Locked on the third pass and watched the whole formation break up exactly like the briefing said it would.
The jet handling felt tight the whole way until the parameters shifted and my wingman never called the incoming missile. That death was cheap, pure and simple, no warning, no chance to dodge.
ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE still needs another patch on how those relationship hits actually play out in the moment.
