Took a short break and somehow burned through a whole hour in Torchlight: Infinite. The first zone felt fine until the map just kept feeding me the same hallway loop, and I started zoning out on every third pack.

I tried swapping two skills mid-run to see if the pace would pick up, but the cooldowns stayed exactly the same and nothing really changed about how I moved. Gear drops are steady, but sorting them takes longer than the fights themselves once your bags fill.

The combat is clean enough, yet the loop never gives you a reason to slow down or speed up. After twenty minutes the only real choice left was whether to vendor the blues or keep clicking through another corridor.
