Last night the payload round on that new night map moved for maybe four minutes before the defending team just locked it down. I picked a support and spent most of the time deciding whether to heal the tank or peel for the backline, but the distance between those choices always felt the same.
I’ve been thinking about how the match keeps you on cooldowns and positioning rather than big flashy plays. You’re either waiting for the next reload or moving to a safer angle, and the game rewards the second choice more often.
One moment I kept replaying was when a flanker tried to dive our backline and I dropped a cooldown exactly in time to break their combo. That felt clean. Everything else, though, dragged once the overtime timer started and nobody wanted to commit to a push.
Overwatch® still runs better when you treat it like a slow, picky chess match than when you expect constant action.
