Started the game after someone swore it was worth the time. Felt like a bad choice right away, the whole thing runs on the same bus loop with the same sinners and the same fights. I kept asking myself why every encounter dragged out so long when the only thing that matters is whether your skill cards actually line up before the enemies get another turn.
One fight against a cluster of armored things in a ruined district showed me the problem. I had a full chain ready but got interrupted on the last card, so the sinners just stood there and took the hit. Death felt cheap because there was no counterplay left once the sequence was broken.
Limbus Company keeps pulling the same resource bottleneck over and over, so you’re stuck either restarting or spending to fix it. Hard to call that a real test of skill when the match is already decided by how much you’re willing to grind or pay.
