Lane NotesTried TBH: Task Bar Hero after a friend mentioned it and the first few minutes felt exactly like the sort of game I usually avoid. The whole setup stays stuck along the bottom edge, so you’re basically sliding icons back and forth while new ones keep popping up every couple of seconds. After the first wave I started noticing the rhythm: drag two files together for a bigger blocker, then tap the blinking reminder to clear a line before it reaches the right side.
Twenty minutes later the upgrades are still just tiny extra slots on the same narrow strip. You can spend the points you earn, but nothing really changes about how the screen plays out except it’s a little wider and a little busier. I kept waiting for something to open up or branch out, but it’s the same loop, just with more icons to herd.
I suppose it’s relaxing in a low-effort way, yet it also feels like the design hits its ceiling pretty fast. Once the taskbar is full there’s nothing else to do but keep the same motions going, only faster.
