Ivy - proving that if at first you don't succeed then just howl louder until you get what you want 🤣🤷â€â™‚ï¸
Apparently she now knows when I'm having a bout of insomnia 😆
My blind calico baby
What about it?
She was a feral who was supposed to part of a TNR program, but turned out she was allergic to the anesthetic and went into cardiac arrest on the operating table. The vet managed to get her back, but not before she had some pretty significant brain damage.
About six months ago, she caught the sniffles from my other cat but didn’t get better, and we realized that she had some heart damage from her previous cardiac arrest, as well. It was touch and go for a couple days, but $1K in vet bills and daily subcutaneous fluids later, she made a full recovery!!
She’s still high maintenance and absolutely driving me crazy, but she’s healthy and happy now. Just figured I’d post a happy story on this sub.
Temporary Placement Help
What about it?
A friend couple of mine is going through a delicate situation right now with their family, in which they are threatening to give away their cats to a shelter.
They are currently out of state in the process of moving back to California, and they really need some immediate help to keep their family together.
1 boy and 1 girl
Both under 2 years old
Fixed
Fully vaxxed and healthy
We are hoping to find foster parents or any other temporary placement options around our area for them while they figure out housing It could take from weeks to months, but they truly are heartbroken with this decision.
Would anybody suggest any solutions? We are in the Calabasas-Woodland Hills-Valley area, etc, area of Los Angeles. We really need immediate help as they are threatening to do so tomorrow, while they are gone.
I have 3 boys of my own who do not do well with introductions, and two have very severe chronic GI issues that worsens with stress/anxiety. I’m heart broken I cannot help personally.
Growing fast, each with their own personality.
What about it?
The one in the back (M) is the loudest, he is takes an average amount of milk. The one his right (M) is the hungriest, he takes the most amount of milk but he's also the only one that purrs so far. The one in the front (F) she drink half of the hungry one, and she is the most agile in climbing, she's also the cuddliest.
In 2 weeks they'll get vaccinated.
