New low for CCleaner

I occasionally use CCleaner, for quick cleaning while preserving necessary cookies. Always use the free version, as I literally have no use for any paid features. I never leave it running in the background. Last update I installed and walked away, leaving for work. Came back to this screen on my desktop. A large overlay covering the entire interface, prompting user to upgrade. Sure, you can ask. Then I realized that I can’t find a way to close the ad. Tried just closing the app — nope. After staring at the screen for a long minute, finally saw the “No thanks”, white font on a white background, to the left of two prominent “Upgrade Now” buttons… I literally have never posted here before. Pissed me off.
