Russia is bigger than 150 smallest countries and territories combined (but still want more)

Is there a lore reason there are no major cities in Europe? Or are they just stupid?

Basically just a map of the most populous counties in the US, with the geographically largest of them (looking at you, San Bernardino County) most visible.

If deserts are *generally* created by Hadley cells (i.e., by dry, high pressure air in subtropical regions), how (as is supposed) was the Sahara ever lush and green?
