Just curious on this little menace. (Located in Southern Ontario Canada)

Apologies on the horrible quality photo due to the poor lighting on my back deck, this moth has been trapped in my house for the past 2 weeks and I was finally able to catch and release it tonight, we found it was eating through thin cotton tee shirts and would hide in bathrooms but would flee upon being noticed, any ideas?
