What is this lil bugger

Found this guy chillen on my iPad screen. I’ve seen these randomly around my house before by window trims . Super tiny and clearish looking. Is this a book lice?

Please ID this thing that gave me a heart attack today.

Can someone ID this bug?? At first I thought the long part was a part of the bug but now I’m not so sure. But it gave me mega heebie-jeebies. I’ve never seen anything like it. It kept hovering under my table on the deck. I’m located by Niles, IL, just outside of chicago.

They’re everywhere. And there’s a tiny little sting when they bite.

This is one of the medium sized ones on the porch and is about the size of a penny. The other larger ones are close to the size of a quarter (maybe a tad smaller).
