Free-roam flooring?

We have tile flooring which bunny doesn't seem to mind. If I throw a blanket down, or when we used foam tiles, she didn't stick to the covered area and explored in the tiled area. She also likes lying against the cool tiles in a shady area under the bed. But I'm scared of her jumping and binkying on hard stone floors. Do I need to cover it for her safety and what do you use? Needing something easy to sweep hay off of and not too expensive and something she won't eat (that's why we stopped with the foam) Pictured above, bunny waiting for us to open the door so she can make a quick dash into the second room we let her free roam in only under supervision

Can bunnies act sick because of a broken nail?

(a pic of my bun in a blankie because he's cute) Yesterday I noticed my bunny acting strange, but I didn't think much of it because we were at the vet just a few hours before for a check before neutering. However, it wasn't getting better, but I had a hard time figuring out what's going on, because he literally had a full body check. When I was giving him probiotics and some meds today, I noticed that he broke his nail and I helped him get it off. Is it possible that he refuses to eat and isn't active just because of a nail?

He finally let me trim his nails!

This is Shiro, my 3 year-old bunny. A while ago I asked for some tips in this subreddit because he doesn't really like it when I cut his nails or brush his hair. He is definitely the grumpiest bunny I've owned, but during this summer I've been working on getting him to trust me more and today that payed off!! I was able to trim all his nails, which is a very big win for me even if he did run away afterwards

Bonding advice

When do you know it's safe to leave you buns in the same area unattended? Adopted these boys about a week before they hit pubity, their bond went out the window and they couldn't be near each other. They've spent the last few months with bars separating them. This is the first time they've been in the same space, it's been an hour of eating grass and flopping next to each other. Hoping this is a good sign, the last time I tried, about six months ago, it was nothing like this! Thank you!
