I keep two 5 gallon buckets in my shower to collect the excess cold water that comes out of my shower before the water gets warm. I can then use that excess shower water to do laundry, water my plants, or use to take a cold shower. Its wild how 5 extra gallons of water is wasted a week just for warm showers. Unfortunately my cat likes to drink out of the buckets…
