Found this creepy looking spider out on my deck. Should I stay far away?

Friend or foe?

I saw this outside my house in Eastern Kentucky, anyone recognize it?

It looked a bit like a katydid in the face, but with a different body. Apologies for photo quality.

Any idea what this guy is? North East Pennsylvania

He / she / it was quite large. About 2 inches. Not the best picture, but it was a shiny blueish color in the right light. Never saw one before.

Is this a bedbug?

Grasshopper? Friend found in yard

She found this massive grasshopper(?) in her yard and i wanna know what it is. Found in Northern New Mexico near Colorado.

Are these some kind of aphid or adelgid? And are they a problem?

They’re absolutely coating the branches of most of the American beech trees in this forest. The ground beneath is also coated in dark purplish grey stuff, presumably their droppings
